WHO THIS HELPS

Clear responsibilities. Repeatable routines.

If every handover depends on a conversation with you, or each manager runs the same shift differently, the first step is understanding where expectations are unclear. More paperwork is not automatically the answer.

Through online or phone consultations, I help you review the routines you have, identify the gaps that matter and agree practical changes. Your managers implement and test those changes in the restaurant; we review their feedback together.

THE REVIEW IN PRACTICE

What we can work through.

The final scope is tailored to your restaurant and agreed before work begins.

01

Opening, closing and handovers

Define the checks that matter, who completes them and how unresolved issues carry into the next shift. Keep the routine focused enough to use, rather than turning every task into a long form.

02

Manager accountability

Clarify ownership of scheduling, purchasing, counts and reporting. Discuss what should be escalated to the owner, what managers can decide and how follow-up is recorded.

03

Training and operating procedures

Review role expectations and onboarding checklists. Develop agreed task guidance around your operating needs, with a clear owner for keeping procedures current.

04

Scheduling and review habits

Review the process for preparing schedules, checking changes and discussing results. Build a manageable rhythm for team feedback and action-plan reviews.

BEFORE WE START

Know what to expect.

Scope, timing and fee agreed in writing. No payment or commitment through the website.

What to prepare

Existing checklists or procedures, role descriptions if available, a sample schedule, and examples of recurring handover or training issues. Describe roles without sending employee files, disciplinary records or other personal information.

Do not upload confidential financial documents, employee information or passwords through the enquiry form. We agree a secure way to share relevant records later.

What you receive

  • An agreed review of the priority routines and responsibility gaps.
  • Practical checklists, procedure updates or action-plan items within the written scope.
  • Scheduled remote reviews where the engagement includes implementation support.

Scope and limitations

This is operational guidance, not HR, employment-law, payroll or food-safety certification advice. Your team remains responsible for implementation and local compliance. Project deliverables, review frequency, timing and fees are agreed in advance.

Recommendations are advisory. Decisions stay with you, and savings or profit outcomes are not guaranteed.

YOUR QUESTIONS

Before you enquire.

Do you train my team on site?

No. Consultations are online or by phone. We agree whether remote manager discussions or training-support materials are included; your managers lead day-to-day use in the restaurant.

Do we have to replace all our procedures?

No. We start with what you already use and focus on the routines causing the most difficulty. Existing procedures that work should not be rewritten simply for the sake of it.

How is this different from ongoing advisory?

A 30-Day Profit Improvement Project is time-boxed around an agreed scope. Monthly Operations Advisory provides an ongoing review rhythm. We discuss which format fits the work before you commit.
